Description
LulzBot KT-PP0017 Overview
The Beefy Idler Assembly is designed to be a stronger, more reliable replacement for the extruder idler used on the LulzBot TAZ 6 and Mini 3D printers. It's also compatible with previous LulzBot 3D printer models.
Featuring a stronger filament guide, stronger bearing braces, and thicker hinges, the Beefy Idler Assembly is used to evenly apply pressure to the filament. It presses the filament against the hobbed bolt used to drive the filament into the hot end. Installation is simple. Remove the M3 screw that's holding the existing idler, remove the idler, remove the M3 nut, and install the Beefy Idler. Use the M3 screw and nut to secure the Beefy Idler, and you're all done.
