Alpine Astronomical LRING Overview
Mount your Baader 2" Zenith diagonal to your telescope with the help of the Baader 2" Locking Ring for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes from Alpine Astronomical. This locking ring allows you to firmly secure the prism in the limited space between the base of your mount and the back of the optical tube assembly (OTA) when the scope is pointed directly or almost directly overhead. It has a 2" female thread and a 0.2" (5.0mm) optical path and is compatible with Celestron 8", 9.25", 11", and 14" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes (SCTs).
