Supporting the industry standard Linear Tape File Systems (LTFS), you can easily drag and drop your files onto an LTO 8 and 9 cartridge for long-lasting preservation, giving you 30+ years of shelf life, which is significantly longer than traditional hard-disk drive solutions. You get 18TB native cartridge capacity support with data transfer speeds up to 300 MB/s thanks to the 12 Gb/SAS interface. This tape drive includes the necessary cables as well as an optional SAS Host Bus Adapter (HBA) card so you can start archiving your information as soon as possible.
