Used to detect if an object is present in front of it, the IR Distance Interrupter consists of an LED and phototransistor that detects reflected infrared light and outputs a logical HIGH or LOW depending on the distance between the surface and the sensor.

- TTL Digital output mode (High when black detected, Low when white)
