Think Tank Photo Glass Limo Overview
The black Glass Limo Backpack from ThinkTank is specially designed to hold long lenses. Specifically, it's meant to accommodate a 600mm f/4 or 500mm f/4 without a body attached or 400mm f/2.8 with pro body attached. The backpack has a padded collar for stabilizing 300 mm and similar size lenses. However, when fitting larger lenses, you must remove the padded collar, or the larger lenses won't fit properly. A versatile backpack, it can be reconfigured to hold a standard DSLR and about 5-8 lenses. The interior movable touch fastened dividers allow you to customize the pack to suit your gear needs. In order to hold the long lenses in place, the pack comes with specially designed touch fastened collars that secure the lenses in place.
For storage, there is a zippered front organizer pocket for pens, drive, note pad and other small items. Your tripod or monopod can be attached to either side of the pack using the included straps. And, because ThinkTank knows that a day in the field can be rough, water bottle pockets are included on both sides of the pack.
The Glass Limo is carried by its adjustable harness or top carry handle. A waist belt is also included for balance and stability. The Glass Limo accepts ThinkTank's optional Pro Speed Belt or up to three optional modular pouches. A rain cover is included for inclement weather.
The pack is made from a combination of durable water repellent fabric, polyurethane, nylon and ripstop polyester. The interior is a polyethylene board with removable closed-cell velex foam and nylon. The zippers are all YKK with pull tabs and designed to stay closed so your gear won't slip out. ThinkTank warrants the Glass Limo Backpack against manufacturer's defects.
Alternately carries a standard pro kit with pro DSLR and 5-8 lenses

Think Tank Photo Glass Limo Reviews
good but missing critical flaw
I bought this bag as an MLB/NHL kit bag. I could put in a 200-600 Sony lens, 70-200, and a body with grip attached but space for a cable ouch. It's a tight fit but works. Unfortunately, the bag has two critical failures. First, this is the only Think Tank bag I've seen where you can't lock your gear inside. This would have been easy to add but it now means I can't secure the bag in my car, even when it's locked to the seat hooks. Second, it's missing a laptop ouch which means I would need a second bag just for that. In short, sending it back. On a side note, it could use a front pocket and a deeper front pocket.
Perfect backpack for me.
Just needed a bag for one DSLR, a 200-500mm, and 24-120mm lens. This bag is just right and room for a few other things.
One Excellent Case
I purchased this bag to carry my expensive gear, so I'm able to hike comfortably to remote locations without damage to my equipment. It works perfectly! It fits my Canon 500mm with body, and grip attached, without being oversized. If you need to do the same, I couldn't recommend it more. Thinking of the valuable items you are protecting, the price of this case is minimal.
Perfect for Nikon 200-400mm
This is the perfect size for a Nikon 200-400mm with a body - D3, D500 with grip. I often leave the 1.4 converter on the combination. The bag is very light and has deep side pockets with included straps to hold a monopod on one side and the rain cover on the other - and s water bottle. The shoulder straps are very comfortable
great bag for 600mm len only
I was sure it will fit the len+body build quality is amaing
Big enough with room to spare.
Big enough to carry my Canon EOS R with Sigma 150-600mm Lens attached and a few extra lenses. I don't have a grip on my camera, but it if I did it would fit.
Good but not perfect
I have three other Think Tank bags and three suitcases. I like that this bad is much firmer and studier than the others meaning better protection of gear. I use it as my NHL kit bag and fit in a Sony 200-600 (with backwards hood), a1 with grip, and 70-200 with space for my cable bag too. The downside it they could have added some extra pockets on the outside but chose not too which is a disappointment. In the nest version there should be one or two side pockets and toner lower front.
Another great bag from Think Tank Photo
Needed a backpack for DSLR, long lens and wide angle. This is perfect.
