This 7-1/4" Stainless Steel Wire Diffusion Set from Matthews includes one full single, two full double, one half single, and one half double scrims. They are impervious to rust and hold up better under uneven, intense heat, making it preferable for use with open face, non-Fresnel lighting fixtures. The scrims are designed to reduce light output at the source without affecting the color temperature, and the half scrims reduce a portion of the beam and are used when the light is striking the plane of the subject or background at an angle. They can be stacked to achieve limitless variation of light intensity.
