This Ambient Recording XLR Holder with Windscreen Cable Adapter is an adapter plate for mounting on QXS, QP, or QS boompoles and incorporates a thin XLR cable. The thin aluminum support plate mounts on top of your boompole and is held fast by your mic mount. It features a low-profile 5-pin XLR female to attach to your mic for carrying stereo signals, and the thin cable is ideal for use with a windscreen/zeppelin. The standard 5-pin male connector enables you to mount your boompole's 5-pin XLR audio cable. The setup holds your mic cable secure, relieving strain on your mic and preventing the cable connectors from rubbing against your boompole, which can introduce noise into your audio.
