Quality/price ratio is high!
Build quality seems very high. Length is perfect for my purpose, which is field recording of natural sounds. Light but solid. I haven't noticed any problem with the internal XLRs as noted by others, but haven't tested rigorously as yet.
Cable doesn't work
Great looking light weight product, unfortunately the integrated XLR does not work at all. Will be returning.
Noisy. Immediately.
Opened this up, put it up on a C-stand, plugged in the mic and cable, and it started buzzing, loudly, in about 5 minutes. Changing the length of the boom didn�t help, twisting it around would change the sound of the buzz, but not the volume. So this is just a boom pole, the internal XLR (in our case) does nothing work. Guess you get what you pay for.
A little heavier than I expected
This Boompole is well balanced but a little overweighted by metal rings. Not used it much yet, but feels and looks very good quality overall.

Great for the price and absolutely comfortable when holding. You'd be a fool to pass this one up!
Built in Cable Not Working
The built in cable as supplied does not work. Checking pin out confirmed that the harness is mis-wired. I swapped the red and white wires at the microphone connector end, and all is good. Easy fix if you have a soldering iron. Otherwise the boompole is great.
