The 6' Canare 4S11 Star Quad Speaker Cable is a handcrafted audiophile-quality speaker cable with banana to banana connectors. Each of the four Star Quad conductors is 14 gauge and when used in pairs, and the effective conductor size is 11 gauge, which virtually eliminates EMI while offering minimum resistance and a high-quality frequency response due to low capacitance. Designed for home theater, this hand-soldered cable utilizes a gold-plated banana connector at each end and features true silver soldered connections.

Defective Banana Plug
I ordered two of these cables. One cable arrived without defects. The second cable had one banana plug that was defective and would not fit in any banana plug receptacle. The remaining three plugs on that cablefit without issue. Now I have the hassle of returning this cable to which of course I have to pay for. Speaker cables that cost this much should have better quality control.
Solid
I can't say anything about the sound quality compared to other cables but the gauge is large enough for any audio setup. They are built like a tank and can withstand a housecat and a toddler.
Did not fit Yamaha receiver or Sony floor speakers
I'm sure these are great quality but there needs to be better compatibility info on this product. I have to unfortunately send them back because they do not fit my receiver or speakers.
These Cables Changed my Life...
I can�t say enough good about these cables. I�ve been a stubborn cable skeptic for years. I refused to believe speaker cables could make muchdifference. When I put these cables into my system, the improvement wassignificant and dramatic. These cables resulted in the greatest sonic improvementI�ve ever made to my system � even more than adding a $2,500 tube amp eight months ago. The improvements are evident in every aspect of the sound. The bass is tighter and more textured, there is more detail and transparency in the sound, the soundstage is larger, and the images are more precise and more holographic. I�ve been stunned by the magnitude of the improvements. The cables themselves are very well crafted. They have the girth, heft, and look of high-end quality. And the price beats anything that comes close to the quality of these cables. These were recommended to me by one of the most experienced audiophiles I know, and he certainly steered me in the right direction. I�m guessing the degree of improvement may vary depending on your speakers and electronics. I�m currently using Magnepan 1.7i�s, which crave all the current I can throw at them, and these cables delivered in a big way. This is the best dollar-for-dollar improvement I�ve ever made to my system. I only wish I�d have done it years ago. Highly recommended.

Fabulous cables!
Prior to purchasing these cables, I was using 12 gauge Monster cable, which were adequate. After installing the Canare 4S11 cables, I was able hear an immediate difference in sound quality, clarity, highs and smooth lows. These cables are flexible and the locking banana plugs are fabulous.

Amazing Cables
These cables are amazing, I swear the sound quality has improved over the flimsy stock RCA cables that came with my turntable and CD player. The gold plated connectors probably help. I ordered the 6' cables and it was so nice to able to run them though the holes in the back of my custon cabinet and still have enough slack to turn the Amp and see what I was doing.
