SmartSystem Smartslider Atom Overview
The SmartSLIDER ATOM 35 from SmartSystem is a modular slider featuring the BAR 35 13.8" rail. Also included is the ATOM CORE sliding carriage with a 3/8"-16 mount plus wheels, feet, the T-FIX tripod mount adapter, and a dedicated bag specific to the ATOM 35 length.
The SmartSLIDER BAR 35 from SmartSystem is a 13.8" long rail for the modular SmartSLIDER ATOM system. It is made of aluminum with a focus on sturdiness, and it has a hollow design, so it is lightweight. Only a single BAR is required for the SmartSLIDER ATOM, and all the other components of the system attach to and around the BAR.
The SmartSLIDER ATOM CORE from SmartSystem is the centerpiece of the modular SmartSLIDER ATOM system. It features a stainless steel camera platform with a 3/8"-16 mounting screw, and it has three slots for attaching the optional WHEELS for the SmartSLIDER system. It also has a set screw for adjusting the grip of the WHEELS, and a brake for locking the wheels in place when used with the rail component of the system, the BAR.
The SmartSLIDER ATOM WHEEL from SmartSystem is a single rail wheel for the modular SmartSLIDER ATOM system. Three WHEEL units attach to the CORE component of the system and slide along the BAR (rail) component. The WHEEL is made of a plastic compound and secured to the CORE via a corrosion-resistant stainless steel shaft. The grip that the WHEEL has on the BAR component is adjustable via the CORE.
The SmartSLIDER ATOM FEET from SmartSystem secure to the BAR (rail) component of the modular SmartSLIDER ATOM system. Two units are included, each attaching to one end of the BAR to allow you to use the slider on the ground and other surfaces. They tighten in place via a knob and feature rubber padding to ensure slip-free placement.
The SmartSLIDER ATOM T-FIX from SmartSystem is a tripod mount adapter for the modular SmartSLIDER ATOM system. It attaches to the bottom of the BAR (rail) component of the system and provides four 1/4"-20 mounting threads and one 3/8"-16 thread. Mounting screws are included for securing to the BAR.
The SmartSystem Padded Bag for SmartSLIDER ATOM 35 has a compact design to match the compact ATOM 35. It features a top flap cover that secures by hook-and-loop fastener and opens to provide easy access to your slider from above.
