nice strap
Liked this strap when I first started using it, but I wasn't a huge fan of the attachment... camera with an L plate was wobbly on a desk if you put it down with the knob mechanism. Got a new R5 and L plate, looking at the L plate closer than I had before... realized I could unattach the hand strap from the screw-on knob quick attachment and directly connect it to the L plate. flush bottom, can mount on a tripod with the hand strap still attached. Win. I'm probably the only person that had to discover that, but you never know. This now does exactly what I wanted it to.
Easiest handstrap to use =
I bought this handstrap to replace the one on my Canon 5D Mark IV from Canon. What I love about this strap is how much easier it is to install & uninstall. Seriously. The old Canon E1 strap I had required that you had a battery grip and you had to loop it through the battery grip as well as the body, meaning it would not be fun if you were planning to shoot without the grip to try and take it apart. They now make an E2, but it's twice as much as this one. With this one, you simply install the upper loop to the camera body once and for all, and the strap has an adjustable length + screw-on mount that allows you to screw it in to the tripod mount, which still allows you to use a tripod if need be (although I will say that there may be a lack of that true stability that the naked camera base has). I will probably be buying one for my Sony Alpha a9 too! =
Would buy again
Wanted a low cost strap and this seems to be a good one. I haven't used it for any long periods of time yet, but it seems comfortable and fits my camera with a battery gripe added.
Good, not perfect
I bought this hand strap to use in a Mamiya 645, a fairly large camera. The bottom section of the strap that attaches to the tripod mount could be a tad longer, perhaps just a half-inch. That would relieve a slight pinch on the outer edge of my right hand when using the strap. My hands are long and thin, so this problem would be worse for someone with thicker hands than mine. The top strap is plenty long. When I bought it, I just assumed that the strap was continuous through the hand pad, and it's not. All in all though, this is a very nice hand strap for the price!

Would this camera strap be effective if I have my camera battery grip on the bottom will it be able to screw in and attach even though I have the battery grip on ??
Excellent product
Highly useful, very easy to attach / remove, as needed when working with a tripod. More comfortable than other 100% rubber based systems. Warms your hand in the winder a bit too.

I like them because they're made of fabric. They don't crack like leather with age. Also no leather odors like some hand straps.
