Manfrotto Black/Mid Gray Overview
The black and mid gray Collapsible Reversible Background from Manfrotto opens to a full 6 x 7' background for studio use, and since it folds to one third its original size, it's portable for on location work. This background can be setup in portrait or landscape orientation, whether you are shooting one or more subjects. A reversible background provides the added benefit of allowing you to change the color whenever you choose and the convenience of carrying one less background.
The steel rim is enclosed in rim tape with a triple-reinforced stitch line so it won't pop out, and if the rim comes apart or breaks, it is covered by a lifetime guarantee. Storage bag is included.

Solid construction
Very solid construction and works well with the manfrotto magnetic mount. Colors are not the darkest/brightest nor the must dustproof but its very easy to correct for and its easy to break down so thats a plus.
Perfect backdrop
Amazing quality very good size
One foot wider than the typical 5x7 backgrounds
The extra foot makes all the difference. It's not much bigger than the standard 5x7 backgrounds when it's collapsed, but when it's expanded that extra width for a 6x7 can make a big difference in your wiggle room. Highly recommended.
Uniquely Bigger than Standard 5X7 backgrounds
This has all the same use cases and portability as the typical 5x7 collapsible backgrounds, but the extra 1-foot along the short side is a big deal when you need it.
Not as good as the old Lastolite by Manfrotto
I first bought this backdrop when was branded Lastolite by Manfrotto. It was my most popular backdrop request for headshots. I had an accident and ruined it so I purchased another one, now rebranded as Manfrotto. It looked like it was the same, but this one shows creases all over and inconsistencies in color (like stripes) all over. The old one was much smoother and easier to work with. This one creates more work when editing. I am a huge Manfrotto fan, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed with this product.

ALMOST perfect - Excellent for schools
This, combined with the magnetic support and a custom piece I made for the hair light mounting has greatly reduced the load size for our photographers. It folds surprisingly easy. The white gets dirty extremely easy. Don't plan on using that if you're setting up often(like school photographers do). This is not nearly as thick as I had expected. Light and shadows are absolutely noticeable through it if you don't have enough flash power. We have always used the old masters canvas backgrounds that are a thick tough canvas. This material is definitely not that.
