MCP6542T-E/SN is a dual channel, push-pull output sub-microamp comparator. This comparator is optimized for low-power, single-supply operation with greater than rail-to-rail input operation. The push-pull output of the device supports rail-to-rail output swing and interfaces with TTL/CMOS logic. The internal input hysteresis eliminates output switching due to internal input noise voltage, reducing current draw. The output limits supply current surges and dynamic power consumption while switching. It operates with a single-supply voltage as low as 1.6V and draws less than 1µA/comparator of quiescent current. It is used in applications such as laptop computers, mobile phones, metering systems, hand-held electronics, RC timers, alarm and monitoring circuits, windowed comparators, multivibrators.
- Quiescent current per comparator is 0.6µA typical at (TA = +25°C, IOUT = 0)
- Rail-to-rail input: VSS - 0.3V to VDD + 0.3V
- CMOS/TTL-compatible output, wide supply voltage range from 1.6V to 5.5V
- Low switching current, internal hysteresis is 3.3mV typical
- Power supply rejection ratio is 80dB typical at (VCM = VSS, TA = +25°C)
- Input offset voltage is ±1.5mV typical at (VCM = VSS, TA = +25°C)
- Input offset current is ±1pA typical at (VCM = VSS, TA = +25°C)
- Input noise voltage is 200µVP-P typical at (10Hz to 100KHz, TA = +25°C)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
- 8-lead plastic SOIC package
