The Plugable USB-C to VGA Adapter allows you to mirror or extend your display via VGA at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz. Connect your VGA monitor, projector, or TV to a compatible USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 computer. This compact adapter is measures just 1.8" on its longest side, making it perfect for travel and on-the-go deployment. A flat cable design minimizes clutter and boasts a tight bend radius for easy operation in confined spaces. Please note, this adapter is only compatible with devices supporting DisplayPort Alt Mode.

Plug and Play

This DisplayPort Alt Mode adapter is plug and play, allowing you to add an additional display output on supported systems without needing to install additional software. DisplayPort Alternate Mode provides a direct pipeline to the host graphics processor (GPU) in your system, meaning the connected display will function with the same uncompromised performance of a natively attached display. Video and photo editing, gaming, and other resource-intensive tasks are possible assuming that the system's GPU capabilities are sufficient for the application being used.

The adapter has been fully tested for functionality on the MacBook Air, iMac and iMac Pro, MacBook and MacBook Pro, Google Pixelbook, Dell XPS 13 and 15, Lenovo ThinkPad, HP Spectre x360, Samsung DeX capable devices, and other systems which support USB-C DP Alt Mode. It is also supports mirroring only on 2018 and later iPad Pro models.

Please note, this adapter is not compatible with devices that do not support DisplayPort Alt Mode, including phones and tablets. Furthermore, most motherboards with dual USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 ports are limited to a single Alt Mode output; only one Alt Mode adapter may be supported per system.
