Audiophiles and music enthusiasts looking for a high-quality DAC/headphone amp will be thrilled with the black FiiO K3 V2 is a compact desktop USB-C DAC and headphone amplifier designed for use with any compatible USB device.
Updates to the K3 V2 include an upgraded ESS DAC (ES9038Q2M), which provides an increased signal-to-noise ratio of 14 dB and reduced distortion by 13 dB. The circuit design has been optimized for a low noise floor and clean sound. FiiO also improved various performance indicators and overall sound quality, allowing you to immerse yourself in your music. Other notable features include an updated USB Type-C interface for a more reliable and stable connection. The unit now employs overvoltage protection and a double-filter circuit to ensure power supply stability. Digital and analog audio circuits each have their own power supply, which greatly reduces crosstalk.
The K3 V2 is equipped with an XMOS USB receiver chip, allowing the device to decode files up to 384 kHz / 32-bit PCM, as well as native DSD256 files. It supports USB Audio Class 1.0 (up to 96 kHz / 24-bit) and 2.0 (up to 384 kHz / 32-bit and DSD256). Designed to provide a hi-fi audio experience, the K3 V2 accurately presents your audio as it was intended by its creators.
For analog outputs, a 3.5mm single-ended connector is provided for use with your regular headphones, while a 2.5mm connector is designed for balanced headphones. Additionally, the K3 V2 includes a 3.5mm line output for connecting to monitors or home theater setups. Should your speaker system, amplifier, or external decoder require a digital connection, the K3 V2 is also equipped with RCA coaxial and optical connectors. Other notable features include a bass-boost switch, a high-/low-gain level switch, and an ADC volume control, which provides smooth level adjustments. The FiiO K3 V2 includes a set of extra foot pads and a USB cable.
