Kodak's standard black and white paper developer for tray processing, this packet of DEKTOL contains enough chemistry to produce 1 gal of stock solution. Return to the Dark Room
Works fast and thoroughly.
Classic and affordable option. Read the mixing instructions well; I forgot to warm up my water and it took a while to fully dissolve but still worked great.
Great Paper Developer

Life DEKTOL user.
I first learned how to develop and print 35mm film when I was stationed in Japan in the early 70's. I still love 35mm black and white at 72 years old and will use nothing but Kodak's D76, Fixer and Dektol. The stuff and just never let me down.
A printing papers friend
Dektol has been in my darkrooms for a long time I still carry packets for use on the road when I shoot paper negative's with my 8x10 camera. Ultimately flexible developer with mixing ratios (3:1 normal), processing times (3min Max normal) and temperature (68 normal) being variable within reason.
Good Old Dektol
Just purchased a gallon of Dektol last week because I heard Kodak had corrected the impurity problem causing the dark brown discoloration and staining of FB paper. I'm happy to say that this gallon mixed with the very light amber color we have come to know from the Dektol in years past. Printed perfectly in the darkroom with deep blacks and clean whites. Looks like the old standby is back. Ordered 2 more gallons.
