Thinkware X1000 Overview
The X1000 Dash Cam with Rear-View Camera bundle from Thinkware allows you to capture the road ahead of you along with the view from the rear window of your vehicle. Both the X1000 forward-facing and rear-view lenses use a 5.14MP Sony STARVIS image sensor to capture 2560 x 1440 resolution video at 30 fps from a 156° diagonal field of view. The dash cam features a built-in speaker and microphone, along with a 3.5" IPS LCD touchscreen that enables you to adjust settings and review footage.
When used with an optional GPS antenna (available separately), driver assistance features like forward collision, lane departure, and front-vehicle departure warnings help keep you safe while on the road. A built-in memory card slot supports microSD cards up to 128GB (32GB card included).

Loved it so much I ordered one for a second car
Been using the X1000 front and rear cameras for a few weeks. Very pleased with the video quality and ease of downloading onto computer for viewing. As a senior citizen (70+) it was easy to start using after the professional hardwired installation. The few questions I had, Thinkware customer service answered very quickly for me via email and chat. My car already has driver assist features so I am not using those features that come with this camera. I wanted the video quality to be super in detail, sharpness, lighting, etc. so I could see as much detail as possible. This camera delivers on those needs. Love the parking recording feature. Liked it so much, that I just ordered another camera for our second car.
Effectiveness
This dashcam saved me during a five car collision. Worked flawlessly and eased the jobs of insurance and police to make the correct decisions for who was at fault. Bought 2 more forthe rest of my cars the same day.
I've waisted literally hundreds on other dash cams that promise so much more because of really good marketing tactics but your product does more than empty promises it delivers quality and a reassuring feeling of money well spent. Thank you �
Works well for the only one that is not wifi enabled. Does what you need it for
After a great deal of researching, we are very glad we found this dash cam. Seems as though it will certainly meet our needs. Thinkware was very helpful to us in deciding upon the camera that would be best for us.
So far I like it. I love that it has a rear facing cam. The touchscreen is nice. I bought it to install in my brand new SUV. Installation was a breeze. I have it hard wired into the fuse box and connected to the external battery for parking mode. I also have the X330 in my other two cars.
High Quality Dash Cam
I had been looking into dash cams for quite a while, but was always intimidated by installing them myself. After my 2nd hit and run incident in NYC (where drivers these days are out of control), I finally decided now was the time to finally get one. I saw this X1000 went on sale so I jumped on it. Installation was every simple and I was able to hide all hired under the trim. The camera works great with excellent video quality both night and day. Now I have more piece of mind.
Great camera for the money
Great camera, does more than i expected. I have two dash cqms from other vendors, butbwill stick with Thinkware going forward.
