Description
The MCP4161-103E/SN is a 8-bit (256 wiper steps) non-volatile Digital Potentiometer programmed/reprogrammed through an SPI compatible interface. This device offers WiperLock� technology which allows the user unlimited reprogramming and locking of the wiper setting. This is useful for equipment that requires factory trimming or recalibration. WiperLock technology allows application-specific calibration settings to be secured in the EEPROM.
