Videotel Digital WAVE SOLUTION VP72 Overview
Add a powerful interactive media player to your digital signage with this WAVE to Play Interactive Proximity Sensor with VP72 Player Bundle from Videotel Digital. The bundle includes the VP72 4K digital signage media player and the Wave to Play motion sensor. The system has built-in player software and a scheduler, so outside control is not required, but it can also work with external signage control via serial communication.
The VP72 features two methods of adding content for playing back: via USB or SD card. The HDMI output, VGA output, and composite RCA output all provide output to the latest digital or legacy VGA displays, and the HDMI output supports up to DCI 4K60 video in portrait or landscape format. The WAVE to Play sensor plugs into the VP72 and allows you to trigger content playback by simply waving your hand over it, and it can even detect a wave motion when mounted behind less than 3" of a non-metal surface. You can also control the player using Wi-Fi (for time sync only), RS-232, or via a variety of USB add-ons, including separately available LED buttons, proximity sensors, wave sensors, QR, foot pedals, barcode scanners, RF remotes, or RFID tags.

This signage player is interactive when used with LED push buttons, motion sensors, scanners, or RFID tags (available separately). The Videotel Digital WAVE to Play Proximity Sensor responds to the wave of a hand, allowing the viewer to trigger a video on a digital signage screen from between one to three inches. This solution can be used with Videotel's 4K VP90, VP92, VP71XD, and VP72 industrial digital media players. WAVE to play can be installed underneath any non-metal material up to three inches thick for a seamless appearance. WAVE to Play allows an "attract screen" to seamlessly auto-loop while allowing additional content to be triggered with a hand wave motion across a designated area, counter, or display.
