Designed to meet the rigorous demands of AI edge servers, data centers and high performance workstations, the 15.36TB RocketAIC 7749EW PCIe 4.0 x16 NVMe AIC SSD from HighPoint delivers a storage capacity of 15.36TB, sustained read speeds of up to 28,000 MB/s, and sustained write speeds of up to 27,000 MB/s. This combination of dense storage and fast transfer speeds is powerful enough to drive data intensive and performance hungry industrial and business applications.
Built with a full-height, full-length, and dual-width form factor, this PCIe card fits into a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and is equipped with eight 1.92TB KIOXIA XD7P DC E1.S SSDs. To further enhance performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both, the RocketAIC 7749EW may be configured as RAID 0, RAID 1, or RAID 10. Other features include a 2 million hour MTBF, an endurance (TBW) rating of 28PB for the solution or 3.5PB per SSD, cooling that is driven by an aluminum casing with an integrated thermal pad and cooling fan, WebGUI management software, and more.
In response to this growing demand, HighPoint's product development team has engineered a double-width cooling solution for the RocketAIC 7749EW series. Designed to drastically improve cooling performance over existing single-width solutions, this system mitigates the threat of thermal throttling and ensures high-density PCIe Gen4 E1.S media consistently deliver maximum throughput for extended I/O sessions.
- Striping: This mode delivers maximum performance and capacity by linking multiple NVMe SSDs together to act as a single storage unit.
- Mirroring: This mode creates a hidden duplicate of the target SSD, and is ideal for applications that require an extra layer of data security, including bootable volumes.
- Security & Speed: This mode offers the best of both worlds. Two mirrored arrays are striped together to maximize performance with a layer of data redundancy.
