Great desktop drive
It's fast; I got 250MB/sec copy when copying three drives to this one at once. It's not very loud, and for the price it's a lot of space.
Zero rating
Too bad I cannot give these drives zero rating as they deserve. They are noisiest and loudest drives I ever own in the last 35 years. They started failing in my NAS after 6 months of home usage which is not something I expected. I am running the in TrueNAS with server motherboard from SuperMicro and 32GB ECC RAM. I've contacted Seagate for RMA and for my surprise they were not served in my country even though they have an official importer and shipped overseas so I paid twice the incoming taxes for them. Last time I am buying Seagate. I've contacted Seagate support and their answer was not to my satisfaction to say the least. I did not know that they are shipping them oversears as if I knew I would prefer to dump them to the trash can and but something more relaible and less noisy.

The new Iron Wolf is my new go to. Even the 5400 RPM is fine for backups and I can trust these drives!

Good experience all around
I bought this drive to replace a failed drive in my Synology NAS. The purchase and delivery process was flawless. The installation and integration into my system was likewise without drama. I had previously attempted to replace the failed drive with one that was not on Synology's approved list & it was a failure, so a word to the wise = save yourself the bother and choose from the approved list. In my case, had multiple drives to choose from and Amazon did not.
Works Great but only 9TB
I know these things are never as advertised but the drive I got is only 9TB. Funny how it is never off in the customer's favor. Nevertheless, it seems like it works well.
