Store, transport, and protect your gear from dirt, dust, and moisture with the 9.6L Portable Dry Case with Rechargeable Dehumidifier from Ruggard. This case is suitable for storing photos, optical, electronics, and other items that require protection from humidity. Interior humidity levels may be monitored with the built-in hygrometer, which has a large, easy-to-read gauge on the lid of the case. For added protection, the case features a weatherproof gasket seal and a manual pressure release valve. Hasps on each latch accept select optional padlocks.
Included with the case is a small, silent dehumidifier that can be renewed by simply plugging it into a wall outlet and waiting for the color indicator to turn from orange to green.

I have eight of them
LOVE these cases and use them to store numerous camera outfits. To keep humidity as low as possible, I also use a yellow Ruggard dehumidifier along with the dehumidifier that comes with each case. Both keep humidity down to 20% for weeks before needing to be recharged.
Not what it should be.
Purchased December 2018, now August 2020. The dehumidifier pack no longer heats up. I know it hasn't been plugged in more than 5 times in the 2 years I've used it. The right hand latch on the case has always been a #&*# to open and close, under close examination I can find no reason for this problem. I hesitate to buy another dehumidifier pack ($17.00) for fear it won't last either.
Convenient!
This dry case is really convenient when I take my cameras out in wet/cold conditions. I really like that I can customize the insert to fit whichever camera I have with me, and having a dedicated dry case is great. The only downside I see is that the latches have a kind of soft close... they don't snap down like on a Pelican or SKB case. For that reason, I keep a small TSA combination lock looped through the lock tab just to be careful.

Lightweight and works
Very pleased with this purchase. I'm keeping my lenses in it at home and will use on a long vacation driving in variable weather. It's easy to plug in the dehumidifier to refresh it, and I can watch the humidity go down pretty quickly, once the package is locked into the case. Like everyone says, you have to move the zippers into the correct position before closing the lid. No big deal.
Gets the job done
Great product for keeping your gear dry. Got it with the insert as the price difference wasn�t that much, however, using it will greatly reduce useable space on the case. I currently have a fujifilm xt2 w/ 1855, a 35f2, a tokina 11�16 and a couple of vintage lenses in there.
Great Box for Cambo Wide
I was looking for a box that would fit my Cambo Wide 4x5 camera. This camera is bulky and the the lens has bars on the left and right sides making it difficult to backpack securely. The dehumidifier works well and the camera fits perfect in the box. Very happy to have found it and recommend it for the purpose I am using it for.
Working great, perfect for the South Florida weather.
This is serving 2 purposes for me in South Florida. The humidity here is intense, so this is great for storage. It gives me peace of mind knowing my gear is free from this humid climate and the damage that moisture can do to my expensive electronics and lenses. We also deal with a lot of rain, and shoot on or near the ocean frequently, so this case is great for bringing the gear on location too. Keeping my camera and lenses free from the weather/environment is essential. It's nice having an affordable solution for both of these problems. The build quality is good, especially for the price. Having dividers in the soft internal case is helpful to keep the equipment organized and not banging into each other. The latches are plastic, but they feel sturdy and have worked well for me. Snap nice and tight. Having the meter on top displaying relative humidity is handy to verify everything is working well, and lets you know if the rechargeable humidifier is working optimally or needs recharging. Being able to add a lock to the front will be great for traveling. And this might sound silly, but I also love that it comes with a shoulder strap. Makes bringing it on location much easier.
