Drawmer DS101 Single-Channel Noise Gate for 500 Series Rack

Presented as the first noise gate designed specifically for 500 series rack enclosures, the DS101 from Drawmer is essentially a single-channel DS201, providing sophisticated noise attenuation facilities such as gating, ducking, and AHD (attack, hold, decay) envelope control as well as threshold, range, and bypass control. Taking up only a single 500 series slot, the DS101 offers loads of functionality in minimal space, and with the ability to accept gate triggers from not only internal and external sources (via the 1/4" insert) but also from the innovative infrared optical link, you can link up to 10 noise gates together, each with independent envelope control, opening up new possibilities for gate processing your mixes.

Variable low- and high-pass filters allow for frequency-dependent gating effects, and the maximum attack time of the DS101 is exceptionally fast, within microseconds, allowing you to preserve the natural attack of your signals. The classic Drawmer traffic light metering provides clear indication of the gate and threshold status. The Key Listen function simplifies the process of tuning out unwanted rattles, mic leaks, and rumbles, and the proprietary trigger stabilization technology eliminates the chatter sounds often heard around the threshold in lesser gates.
