Packing high-quality audio looping and sampling into a highly compact, yet durable aluminum stompbox, the AFX Broken Record from Fishman sports up to 6 minutes of pristine, 24-bit / 44.1 kHz audio recording and 32-bit DSP, which can be easily manipulated with the intuitive footswitch control and selectable looping or sampling modes. Like all AFX pedals, the Broken Record features an innovative dual-path output that lets you connect TRS cables to your pedal and send your signal over two different effect loops, Tip or Ring.

The AFX Broken Record features selectable true and buffered bypass, allowing you to choose your preference, depending on your pedalboard size and needs. Audio files sampled by the pedal are retained in internal memory, even when power is disconnected, and with the free AFX PhraseTransfer app, you can easily transfer sampled audio files to your computer via the USB-C port with a simple drag and drop.

This pedal requires a 9 VDC power supply to operate. A power supply is not included.

A single footswitch is all it takes to record, overdub, and play along with your coolest riffs and patterns. Featuring high-quality 24-bit / 44.1 kHz audio recording of up to 6 minutes, AFX Broken Record let�s you capture cool ideas and build on them, or even play along with pre-recorded audio you transfer from your computer.

The built-in memory will retain what you recorded, even after the power is disconnected, letting you unplug at your gig and transfer your loop to your computer later. This also means that the backing track you transfer from your computer will be ready and waiting for you to play back at your next performance.

AFX Minis allow you to choose the audio path on which a particular effect will be processed. You do this by flipping the Audio Path switch on the front of the pedal.

Simply connect several AFX Minis together with TRS stereo guitar cables and set the Audio Path switch on each pedal to Tip or Ring. Pedals set to Tip will create one effect chain while pedals set to Ring will create another effect chain.

With true bypass, the pedal's electronics are literally removed from the signal chain. For those who prefer a buffered bypass, AFX Mini effect pedals are switchable.

Looper mode lets you record, play back, and endlessly overdub to create multi-layered audio loops. On the other hand, Sample mode is designed to play audio once without looping. You can switch between Looper and Sampler modes if you want to simply play a recording once and have it stop automatically.
