Based on the well-regarded Fishman Platinum series instrument preamps, the AFX Pro EQ Mini pedal delivers high-quality preamplification and 5-band equalization in a voicing specifically tuned for acoustic guitars. This compact, yet durable aluminum stompbox sports an impedance-matching preamp with up to 20 dB of clean gain and 24-bit A/D/A conversion with 32-bit DSP.

The AFX Pro EQ Mini will enhance just about any passive or active acoustic pickup, and you can route the effect over two selectable FX paths via the innovative dual-path routing in all AFX pedals, which send effects over either the Tip or Ring of the 1/4" TRS I/O for versatile pedalboard setups. You can use the footswitch to change polarity when feedback gets you down, or engage in either true bypass, buffered bypass, or mute functions.

This pedal requires a 9 VDC power supply to operate. A power supply is not included.

This is no off-the-shelf graphic EQ�plug in and your signal begins with a high-impedance instrument preamp to condition nearly any passive or active pickup. Then, use the four bands of acoustic tone control to sculpt your bass, mids, treble, and brilliance.

A sweepable Low Cut fine-tunes the very low frequencies to reduce or enhance thumps and subs. Finally, hold the footswitch to toggle your output polarity. Also known as phase, this simple circuit can tame low-frequency howl very effectively.

AFX Minis allow you to choose the audio path on which a particular effect will be processed. You do this by flipping the Audio Path switch on the front of the pedal.

Simply connect several AFX Minis together with TRS stereo guitar cables and set the Audio Path switch on each pedal to Tip or Ring. Pedals set to Tip will create one effect chain while pedals set to Ring will create another effect chain.

Unlike conventional guitar stompboxes, AFX Pro EQ Mini features an analog preamp that provides up to +20 dB of quality gain and impedance matching for most passive, active, and magnetic acoustic instrument pickups.

With true bypass, the pedal's electronics are literally removed from the signal chain. For those who prefer a buffered bypass, AFX Mini effect pedals are switchable.

AFX Pro EQ Mini also lets you choose to mute your audio instead of bypass. Hold the footswitch while applying power and the LED will flash to indicate the mode has changed.
