Worth the upgrade
Definitely an upgrade. Helps keep your face off the camera.
Great upgrade for XT3
I bought a pair of these for my XT3 twins. Wasn't sure if they'd actually be an upgrade, but they certainly are. They snap right on just like the originals, they are about twice as deep, and the rubber is smoother and less of a dust magnet vs. the originals. Huge improvement for viewfinder clarity and keeps everything a bit cleaner, especially rain, sweat, and dust/hair.
Bulky and uncomfortable
Quite bulky and sits uncomfortably with my face. The upper portion hits the brow bone at an angle where I can't really use the eyecup properly but it's still better than not having an eyecup in place.

The eyepiece that comes on the X-T1 is just too shallow and lets in too much light. This makes it harder to see the EVF image for composing shots. The Long Eye Cup solves this problem, and it is very easy to remove the standard eye cup and install the new one.
Must have for the Fuji XT1.
Purchased this item previously for my Fuji XT1 from .? Fits the viewfinder well and gives better aesthetic value to the body.? Very functional as a light shield when using the viewfinder, which I use much of the time.? Excellent quality, manufactured by Fuji.
Eliminates light bleed on x-t3
Purchased for my fujifilm X-t3, really easy to install and works so much better than the standard version at eliminating external light bleed. Also it is very comfortable.
