Design is much improved such that I didn't really need this
I purchased this automatically based on my experience with the E-M1 series (original, mark 2, & mark 3) on which it was not unusual to accidentally knock off the eyepiece and sometimes lose it. So I always kept a spare on hand. I ordered this eyepiece for the OM-1 without having actually yet received my OM-1. Once I did get the new camera, I saw that the design was much improved such that it won't get knocked off nearly as easily. So it turns out I really didn't need it after all. The price was insignificant enough so I kept it anyway.
