Designed with a fully multicoated 9-element/5-group lens configuration, the Celestron Ultima Edge 30mm Flat Field Eyepiece produces bright and clear views with crisp and sharp resolution across the ultra wide 70° field of view�even at the extreme edges. The eyepiece's focal length produces a low magnification for wide-field observation of large deep-sky objects, like nebulae and clusters, or the moon and planets without being distracted by excessive vibrations. This Ultima Edge has a larger 2" barrel that maximizes light throughput to ensure views remain bright and crisp with standard threads for 2" filters. A textured collar makes inserting and removing the eyepiece easy, and the combination of exceptional 22mm eye relief and fold-down rubber eyecup make it comfortable to use with or without eyewear.
