The system houses a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor. The CPU features six performance cores and four efficiency cores, for a total of 10 cores. The performance cores handle CPU-intensive workflows while the efficiency cores take care of background tasks.

With an improved hybrid core architecture, the Intel Core i7 processor can run high-demand games and provides improved multitasking. The MUX switch allows you to switch between the dedicate GPU and integrated graphics.

Designed for gamers and creators, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series graphics card provides both high performance and useful AI features. Powered by Ada Lovelace architecture, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-Series graphics delivers realistic visuals, thanks to ray tracing and AI features like DLSS. Generative AI applications, like Adobe Photoshop, take advantage of Tensor Cores to speed productivity and keep creative workflows moving. The MUX switch allows you to switch between dedicated and integrated graphics so you can handle graphics-intensive workflows when you need it.

The Katana 15 features a plethora of ports, including a HDMI 2.1 port that can output up to 8K @ 60 Hz or 4K @ 120 Hz. The RJ45 LAN jack allows for a wired Gigabit Ethernet connection. USB-C and USB-A ports are available, as well as a 3.5mm audio combo jack.

The Katana 15 features an improved Shared-Pipe design. The heat pipe attaches to both the CPU and the GPU, which can improve the thermal capabilities of both without reducing performance. The Shared-Pipe design features six heat pipes and two fans.

The dual fans and exclusive MSI Cooler Boost 5 technology help keep temperatures down while under load.

Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.
