Ice Magco 82mm Filter Stack Set with MC CPL, ND8, ND64, ND1000 with Magnetic Adapter Ring

This Magco 82mm Filter Stack Set from ICE is an ideal set of filters for shooting landscapes. The circular polarizer reduces glare from highly reflective surfaces, like polished metal, glass, and water surfaces. It also increases the saturation of the sky for greater color separation when shooting landscapes. The three neutral density filters that can be used individually or in various combinations to create a darkening of the entire image area, allowing exposures to be made with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing the exposure time or increasing the aperture, it is possible to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. The neutral density filters in this set reduce the amount of light entering a lens by three, six, and ten stops, respectively. Each filter is constructed from optical glass, for clarity as well as color fidelity.

Each filter features 16-layer multicoating that increases light transmission for increased tonal separation, while preventing internal lens flare. The hardened, easy clean topcoat resistance coating repels water, oil, dust, and fingerprints and provides a toughened scratch-resistant surface well suited for use in harsh environments. These filters do not affect coloration of the image and are ideal for use in combination with other filters. Each filter is mounted within a slim, aluminum alloy filter ring which makes them suitable for use with ultra-wide lenses without vignetting. The slim profile of these filters allows up to four filters to be stacked for combined use.

The included 82mm magnetic adapter ring is an aluminum ring that screws on to the filter threads of a lens, allowing the filter to be quickly attached or removed. The polarizer rotates freely on the ring for proper positioning, and up to four magnetic filters can be stacked at a time. The ultra-slim design is compatible with extreme wide-angle lenses, and the adapter ring features front threading that allows the original lens cap to be used for protection without removing the ring.

The included protective front and rear stack cap set allows the filters to be organized while protecting both surfaces from dust, scratches, and fingerprints when not in use. ICE Magco magnetic filters are fully compatible and interchangeable with Kase, Haida, and Marumi magnetic filters.
