weak piece of junk poorly designed
made of thin, soft metal that bends easily. It's a real piece of junk!
Does not work for Topcon Lenses
Does not work with Topcon Exakta lenses. They have a pin to control the aperture which this mount does not support.
Interferes with Canon 5d mkii mirror
Purchased this adapter for a vintage Soligor 400mm Exakta lens. Adapter clicked in on both the lens and my Canon 5d mkii body. 2 of the first and only images taken revealed the adapter interfered with the mirror (half of the image was black). processed the return just fine. I would recommend to anyone needing this adapter to purchase an Opteka T-mount for Canon EOS adapter. Unscrew the 3 mounting screws, remove the Exakta ring and attach the Opteka adapter (after removing those 3 screws as well) to what remains on the lens. Voila, problem solved.
