Darkglass Electronics X900 Overview
Based on the X-series pedals, the Microtubes X 900 from Darkglass Electronics offers 900W of potent Class-D amplification and exceptional accuracy and control. Sporting 6-band graphic EQ, high- and low-pass filter control, and the versatile Microtubes X 2-band distortion engine, you can go from crystal clear to aggressively overdriven with ease.
By compressing the lows and distorting the highs in separate bands with an adjustable frequency crossover, Microtubes X 900 provides incredible tonal control. You can manually activate or deactivate the distortion engine, engage compression on the clean channel with dedicated volume control, and mute the whole amp head directly. Turn on Active mode for more headroom, precisely control high-frequency distortion (Drive), and find the perfect blend of compressed lows and distorted highs (Mix). I/O is extensive, including MIDI input (with CC and PC support), pre- and post-DI XLR outputs, an FX loop, USB-C for Darkglass Suite control, aux in for jamming to your favorite tunes, and a headphone output for silent practice.
