With everything from realistic spatial simulation and traditional reverbs to sounds hitherto unknown, Reverb from Empress Effects offers stunning audio quality, versatility, and intuitive, menu-free operation. Along with ultralow-noise operation, stereo output, and a flexible Control Port, you get nearly unlimited creative potential.
Reverb sports 32 studio-quality reverb algorithms across 12 algorithm types, with some types also including multiple variations. A cabinet simulator is included with three variations, ideal for DI recording, practicing, or gigs without an amp. The incredibly flexible Control Port allows you to connect an expression pedal, external footswitch, CV device, MIDI device, or aux audio signal to Reverb, all via a single 1/4" input. And with selectable true or buffered bypass, you can maintain a pure, uncolored signal (true bypass) or a robust, lossless signal that resists long cable runs and complex pedalboards (buffered bypass).
- Hall: emulation of a concert hall
- Plate: simulates electromechanical plate reverb
- Spring: based on electromechanical spring reverb, common in guitar amps
- Room: short-decay reverb based on a physical space with dense early reflections
- Sparkle: octave effect fed into a large-sounding tail
- Modulation: delay lines with modulation applied to each line for a warm, smooth, and huge sound
- Ambient Swell: detects breaks in your playing or triggers to apply a smooth, adjustable fade in
- Delay + Reverb: a classic combo that evokes the '80s
- Reverse: this ramps up your parts so they sound as if they're fading in
- Ghost: a smooth, spooky layer that is applied behind your dry signal and features a resonant, heavily modulated tail
- Lo-fi: in this mode, the dry signal is processed with raunchy filtering, distortion, and grainy discrete delays
- Beer: random glitch with gated reverb, for a chaotic and experimental sound
