TC Electronic BAM200X Overview
Ideal for studio and stage, the microsized BAM200 from TC Electronic is a 200W Class-D bass amplifier head small enough to fit in your jacket pocket. Sporting 3-band EQ for precise tonal shaping and a MOSFET preamp for warm, tubelike tone and nonlinear harmonics, the BAM200 gives you vintage power in a compact, modern package.
On the front panel you get independent Gain and Master volume controls, which when combined with the 3-band EQ, offers plenty of tonal shaping options. You also get versatile outputs, including an XLR DI output for pro audio gear (mixers, PA's, and interfaces), a 1/4" headphone output with cabinet simulation for silent practice, and a 4-ohm speaker output for connecting to external cabinets. Built to last, the BAM200 features a rugged steel chassis and internal protections against short circuits, thermal overloads, and low-impedance speakers.
