Whether you are editing video, recording music, or working on robust file systems, the StudioRAID Mini enables you to save your progress quickly and efficiently, making this ideal for audio engineers, digital artists, and enterprise workstation users.
Containing two 2TB drives, you can save a multitude of important files with ease. With RAID 0 and 1 support, you can choose how you want your data to be managed with mirroring and striping protocols. The StudioRAID Mini supports USB 3.0, FireWire 800, and eSATA interface options, allowing you to use a wide range of connection options suitable for your workstation. Quickly transfer your information with speeds up to 411 MB/s, ensuring enhanced operation compared to traditional hard-disk drives. Intelligent Quiet Fan keeps your drives cool during operation and a front panel LED light notifies you when the unit has power, is reading and writing information, and if there is an error. You can use the StudioRAID Mini on Mac as well as Windows-based machines for additional compatibility options.
RAID Settings
Easily swap between RAID 0 and 1 modes with the flick of a switch. RAID 0 spreads the data across the two drives, increasing the performance suitable for your video, graphics, and sound libraries. RAID 1 mirrors your data, offering real-time backup by writing the same data to the two drives at the same time, keeping your data safe in case of drive failure.
Compatibility
The StudioRAID Mini is shipped in RAID 0 mode and preformatted in HFS+ for Mac systems but can be adjusted and reformatted to meet the needs of Windows-based users.
Connectivity
Promoting extensive connectivity options suitable for your system needs, the StudioRAID Mini gives you two FireWire 800, one USB 3.0, and one eSATA port, allowing you to use this device on a wide range of systems. A power adapter is included to give you the extra power boost needed when using the eSATA and USB 3.0 ports.
