Wasn't Sure What to Expect: Wow!
My first headphone amp purchase; purchased for use with Grado 225i paired with Bluetooth + iPhone. The 225i doesn't require much power to being with, but even I, not being an especially adroit at HiFi tech, easily discerned enhanced performance with the FiiO. Ordering online with was easy and delivery was on time. Solid experience!
Great device
I wanted it as soon as I saw it! It delivers great sound through Bluetooth, and through usb-c using Tidal. I love it!
A Clear Improvement Over The BTR5
I have owned the BTR5 for two years and continue to enjoy it. However, the BTR7 is an improvement in every way. It is bigger, but that is the only downside. The improved screen is very welcome because it can display the bitrate in a readable format. It is more stable when used in DAC mode. The 4.4mm Pentacon connector for balanced cables is much better than the old 2.5mm standard. Most importantly, it can drive full sized headphones properly, and it sounds great.
Very nice sound and compact size too
This device is very nicely made and has kinda small bright and sharp LCD screen. I also have the Fiio q3 dac and there's not much difference in sound quality, but I must say the the q3 does sound slightly better, but not much. The Bluetooth connection works great and very strong too. If you need a portable DAC player with great sound, I highly recommended this one.
Amazing Device!
I purchased this to upgrade from two prior Fiio DACs when I purchased a set of 300ohm headphones. The two prior Fiio devices have served me well for many years but did not have the balanced output to run the 300ohm headphones. This little device sounds great and is a great design. Fiio spent some time drawing up the features on this one. Love it!!
