Canon iX6820 Overview
The Canon PIXMA iX6820 Wireless Inkjet Printer allows you to create high resolution 9600 x 2400 dpi full-color prints. It can even print borderless up to 13 x 19" and produce a 4 x 6" full color photograph in about 36 seconds. Additionally, with an Ethernet port and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, many more wireless printing and networking options are available.
For paper handling the iX6820 utilizes a 150-sheet automatic feeder. This works with its ability to print 14.5 black ipm and 10.4 color ipm to let you leave it without worry of always having to refill the paper. Also, this printer has a 5-color ink configuration that enables excellent color reproduction for your images.
Other features include automatic power on and off for power management when the printer is not in use as well as compatibility with the PIXMA Printing Solutions smartphone application.

A great printer at a reasonable price

Love the results I get with this printer, especially with Canon's Pro Luster paper.
Not Gray Market
Turns out the printer is OK to register in US--for some reason I hit a Canon web site that said otherwise.
Gray market--beware!
The printer I bought is not legal for registration or support in the US. There was no warning about this from . This would not matter very much except it's been impossible thus far to connect the printer wirelessly to my network and I can't get any support from Canon.

nothing special
Bought by accident, I was seeking a printer/scanner to replace previous Pixma MG7520 and which used the same cartridges. After looking at many, I ordered this because it did larger format and used the cartridges I had on hand, accidentally overlooking that it was not a scanner. Prints fine, but it's HUGE for what it does and lacks the auto-on feature of the previous (inexpensive) Pixma which would turn itself on when I hit print. Will probably donate to an organization needing a printer eventually and buy something smaller.
Horrible Edible Printer
I have bought two of these printers in the last year for my cake business and they both start streaking or the colors clog after a few uses.
Excellent Printer, Hard to Set-Up
It took several hours to coax the printer into joining my WiFi network and printing on 13 19 inch paper. You need a USB A to USB type B connector (which was not in the package) and must download Canon's Network Set-Up Tool. After getting the printer on the network, you no longer need the USB cable. Very weird set-up method-I've never had to have a USB connection to get a printer on a network before. You need to install the correct driver to use the printer on a modern MacOS. I had to delete and reinstall the driver twice, as well as unplug the printer for 15 min and restart my computer before I could print on 13 19 inch paper, which was the entire reason I bought this model. But once it was working, the prints look great, at least for my purpose (printing templates for leather working). Printing on 100 lb paper was impressive. Good value for the price, despite the awkward set-up process.
