I use it on my ATEM2 Switcher that's mounted in my portable Gator road case. The neck is long enough to reach far back enough without be inhibiting. No real downside.
Essential tool
I have a very tight space on one of my cameras due to multiple cables. I also have tight spaces to plug into my computer rack. This works perfectly.
So delightful
I wish I had know about this sooner. I use to repatch RF racks all the time by hand, and having to finagle my to the back of the racks was always a pain. I highly recommend this if you ever patch BNC with any amount of frequency.
