Durable, tough, and reliable, the Dell 12" Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme Tablet lives up to its name. This tablet can handle drops, extreme temperatures, and is even IP65 rated for dust, dirt, and water protection. Powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core i5 vPro 10-Core processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 256GB M.2 SSD, the Latitude 7230 Rugged can handle your workflow while you're out in the field. The 12" glove-touch capable display can reach up to 1200 nits of brightness, allowing you to use the tablet in direct sunlight. Windows 11 Pro is the installed operating system, providing all the benefits of Windows 11 Home and additional security features.
Tested for Every Condition
The Latitude 7230 Rugged lives up to its name. It was drop-tested from up to four feet. It can handle temperatures up to 145°F (63°C) and works in -20°F (-29°C) weather. Its IP65 rating provides maximum protection against dust, dirt, and water ingress. All this durability and it only weighs 2.8 pounds (1.3 kg).
12" 1200 Nits Touchscreen
The 12" 1920 x 1200 display can get very bright, up to 1200 nits, ideal for use in direct sunlight. The touchscreen allows you to use gloves so you can keep your hands warm.
12th Gen Intel Core i5 Performance
The system houses an Intel Core i5-1240U processor. Its ten cores consist of two performance cores and eight efficiency cores. The performance cores handle CPU-intensive workflows while the efficiency cores take care of background tasks.
Connectivity
Stay mobile with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax). You can also connect compatible peripherals and accessories wirelessly with Bluetooth 5.3.

The Latitude 7230 Rugged features dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, capable of up to 40 Gb/s data throughput.
Cameras
The Latitude 7230 features a front 5MP camera and a rear 11MP camera, both capable of recording video at 1080p30. Join video calls and be heard, thanks to the integrated microphone.
The Intel vPro Platform is Built for Business
The Intel vPro platform delivers built-in features for performance, security, manageability, and stability. Get business-class performance and power productivity right out of the box. Intel vPro also provides hardware-enhanced security features with technologies to help protect against cyberthreats, plus platform stability. Additional features, such as remote management with Intel Active Management Technology, require activation and IT administration.
Windows 11
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.
