Sekonic 401-857 Overview
The Sekonic Deluxe Case is designed to hold L-478-series light meters and accessories. It features front and back padding for a large zippered main pocket that holds the meter. The meter is accessible through the full opening top. There is also a front pouch with a hook-and-loop closure that conveniently stores the 5° reflected light attachment and folds flat when not in use.
The carrying case features a belt loop that helps keep the meter in a vertical position for easy removal and storage. Additionally, the case has a small, mesh side pocket that can hold a pair of spare batteries or other accessories.

Nice Quality
Does what it claims fitting the view finder and the light meter. Wish the view finder pouch had a slightly softer lining so I would feel more comfortable dropping it in without the extra pouch that came with the view finder itself but oh well.
Not Larger Enough to Fit Light Meter and ViewFinder Spot
It's better than the original soft case shipped with the light meter. I hope the case will be larger to fit the light meter with the 5-Degree Viewfinder attached. Although the case has a small packet for the 5-Degree Viewfinder, placing the light meter with the Viewfinder attached is impossible. It is necessary to detach the Viewfinder and attach the lumisphere back. This represents an inconvenience when the desire is to continue using the Viewfinder later, especially when traveling.
Perfect for L-478 with spot meter attachment
When my spot meter attachment is attached, the meter does not fit in the pouch the meter came with. I finally got this little case. Perfect to fit the meter with either attachment. The case also feels protective enough for this expensive tool.

Excellent Case
Definitely a must for the Sekonic light meters. The light meter came with a case but I prefer the zipper for extra protection.
Great accessory, a must...
This case is a great accessory. I wish Sekonic shipped this with the L-478 units. It is much easier to put the meter away with the standard lanyard attached, and if you have the spot metering attachment it is a must.
