One of the brackets holding light busted
First time using this. The top bracket holding light busted off right in front of client. They are way to tight for the tubes and are made out of stiff metal. Piece of crap. First had a button fall off of one of my Godox TL60 tube lights and now this. Never again giving my money to Godox.
Worth the buy
I questioned paying the amount I did against making my own but in the end it was worth the price. Solid enough to last, holds the lights tight and the mounting arm is perfect. Multiple mountable configurations and can even remove and spin the back plate form vertical to horizontal orientation. Also purchased both the 4 and 2 light brackets for my TL60 4 light kit. Worth the buy! Fair price.
Bracket snapped in 2 minutes
At first I felt this was well made, wasn't a huge fan of the little tightening knob, but that's an easy thing to replace, overall though this was my very first Godox product I'd held in my hands and I was generally impressed. Then I tried to mount a TL60, the brackets seemed very stiff, to the point it was a genuine struggle to snap them in, I just thought this was expected for first time use and that they'd soon loosen over time, unfortunately within moments after walking away, one of the brackets snapped. Hard to know if I'd even want a replacement, I feel there may be better solutions out there. Or I may just replace the brackets, as everything else other than that knob is very good.
