The black M-85-B Professional Dynamic Handheld Microphone from Polsen is a cardioid microphone with durable all-metal construction and a balanced XLR output connector. Designed for live stage and the rigors of the road, this mic can be used for vocals and speech applications. The M-85-B is built with an on/off switch and the cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis noise with a focus on audio in front of the capsule to minimize the possibility of feedback. In addition, the M-85-B's frequency response is tailored for vocals and is designed to make your voice clear and easy-to-understand. The microphone outputs a balanced signal via its XLR output connector and comes with its own balanced XLR to 1/4" cable.
For Vocals and Speech
The M-85-B features a frequency response that's tailored for vocals and speech. The midrange frequencies are slightly boosted for intelligibility and vocal texture. The bass roll-off prevents rumble and low-frequency room noises from affecting your performance or recording.
Solid Metal Construction
This microphone can take a beating and is designed for the demands of the road and live stage performance. The durable all-metal construction ensures that if the mic is dropped, it can survive without damage.
On/Off Switch
The on/off switch quickly mutes the microphone for those moments when you're saying something you don't want the audience to hear.
Dynamic Microphone
The M-85-B doesn't require batteries or phantom power to operate. Just plug it in, set your levels, and go to work.
XLR Output
The balanced XLR output ensures you won't pick up unwanted interference such as static and hum that can bring noise into the signal path.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound and focuses the sound directly in front of the microphone capsule. This helps prevent feedback in a live room with a PA system and rejects the audio-bleed from speakers while focusing on your voice or instrument.
