Intended for on-the-go musicians, the Auray Travelers Mic Stand with Tripod Base is designed for convenience, stability, and durability. It sports a height range of 18 to 58" inches, but quickly collapses down to 17.5", making it easy to store in cases, carry bags, or instrument bags. Relatively lightweight at 2.6 lb, it's very easy to carry about town.
This durable stand is constructed out of steel, making it more than suitable for use on the road. It offers a tripod base whose feet are extendable, so uneven floors won't be a problem. Nonslip feet offer an added insurance against traction.
With a 5/8"-27 threaded mount, the mic stand can accommodate nearly all microphones. Use it to mic guitar cabs down-low or extend the stand to its maximum height for singers. Love it!
I purchased the Auray traveler�s mic stand with boom attachment recently. I needed something completelely portable and collapsible lto put on my small dolly that I use for gigs. It�s well made and works perfectly. I�ve ordered a companion case (currently out stock at )which will protect my purchase when it arrives. Great Product.
Works great for my needs
Works great for my needs. Compact and sturdy
Better than I expected
I have tons of traditional mic stands that do the job. However, I needed a compact folding stand for use with my drone ground station. This is exactly what I�ve been looking for. Fully extended (legs and all upright segments) it is quite sturdy, and holds my DJI tx. and my iPad mini5 without any issues. The only potential problem would be the rubber feet on the base. They slide off easily, but some Gorilla Glue eliminated that issue. I am pleased with this purchase.

Surprisingly Stable
A compact, stable stand that fits in a backpack and does the job. The materials are robust with minimal plastic, giving the stand a confident weight. I have owned many nano stands, and this one is the best by far. It is limited in height, but so long as you are not using a boom and do not need to go too high, it is a must-have for the traveling audio engineer.
Best bang for the buck
I have 4 of these, and these days with more Zooming than face-to-face I find it easier to hold (with the correct adapter) an iPad at the proper height and distance than any other method. I also use them for my drone FPV display, my portable audio and video recorders, and even hang a mic on them !
