The Schoeps Mozart Orchestra Set with CMC 1 U Amplifiers is a pre-configured microphone package designed for small orchestras. It consists of ten MK 4 Colette cardioid microphone capsules and ten Colette CMC 1 U amplifiers, with schoeps stand arrangements. Three additional STR vertical support rods are also included for flexible setup�allowing for wind instruments to be miked from above or below.

MK 4 Colette Cardioid Microphone Capsule
- The MK 4 capsule is renowned for its flat frequency response and consistent cardioid pattern across all frequencies, making it a reliable "problem solver" in challenging recording situations.
- Its transparent sound and effective rear-incident sound attenuation allow for natural sound reproduction.
- The MK 4 is particularly suited as a spot microphone for acoustic instruments or conference recordings, and frequently serves as part of the main microphone pair in XY, ORTF, and MS stereo setups.
CMC 1 U Colette Miniature Microphone Amplifier
- The CMC 1 U is a miniature Colette Series microphone amplifier with an XLR output connector offering uncompromising high fidelity in a lightweight and compact form factor for studio recording, broadcast, and live stage applications.
- A fully equal alternative to the renowned CMC 6 amplifier, but with a smaller form factor, the CMC 1 U is compatible with all existing MK mic capsules and Colette active accessories (available separately).
- It features a balanced XLR output, compliance with 12 or 48V phantom power, and low current consumption. Its Schoeps RFI Shield provides high immunity from RF interference for a clean, low-noise signal. The CMC 1 U supports the high maximum SPLs tolerated by the MK 4 capsule.
