The Voice Technologies Interview Kit VT500Mobile is a lavalier microphone bundle designed for simultaneously recording two people to a single smartphone or tablet, making it ideal for mobile journalists, podcasters, and YouTubers. The included lavalier mics connect to the supplied combining adapter, which plugs directly into the 3.5mm TRRS port of your mobile device. Since the mics use plug-in power from your device, no batteries are required.

Thanks to the omnidirectional polar pattern of each mic, you can achieve consistent speech pickup even if the subjects turn their heads or the mics are turned. Matched to a variance of 1 dB or less, the microphones deliver nearly identical sonic qualities across their 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency range. Attach the foam windscreens to reduce noise from light wind, breaths, and plosives.

The combining adapter features three 3.5mm ports in a compact housing. Two ports are dedicated for microphone inputs while the third port allows you to connect headphones for convenient audio monitoring. Like the mics, the combining adapter requires no batteries.
