The
VC-500WLN-II 500Ws Digital Monolight from
Impact provides versatile lighting solutions for studio and location shoots. Its lightning fast 1.5-second recycle rate at full power makes it possible to capture action in real time without waiting for long recycle rates. The flash's optical slave mode makes it possible to customize strobe operation and compatibility by programming up to five preflash signals. The integrated Bowens S-mount allows light modifiers like softboxes, beauty dishes, and snoots to shape and sculpt the output.

- The integrated 2.4 GHz wireless receiver can be used with the separately available VC-500LXMT transmitter to trigger the flash from up to 328 feet away without line-of-sight positioning.
- The built-in optical slave features an on/off mode, six preflash modes, and a learning mode that allows it to automatically memorize the number of preflashes from a speedlight.
- The audio alert function makes it easy to operate monolights remotely.
- Adjustable stand mount easily balances light when using heavy modifiers.
- Adaptive Thermal Control (ATC) regulates the internal heat, keeping the fan engaged to prevent overheating.
- Overheating and overvoltage protection adjusts recycle time to keep strobe cool and to shield against unstable line voltages.
