With an AM5 socket, you can support a wide range of AMD Ryzen 7000 Series processors. Two dual-channel DDR5 RAM slots allow you to install up to 64GB of memory so you can scale your multitasking performance to your liking. Four SATA and two M.2 interfaces allow you to create an array of storage drives for your games, media, and other important applications. Easily install a wide range of graphics and utility cards to the MPG B650I EDGE WIFI with a single PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. The back panel provides you with ample connectivity options, giving you two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports with data transfer speeds up to 5 and 10 Gb/s, respectfully, suitable for a wide range of peripherals such as capture cards, microphones, and more. A single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port offers up to 20 Gb/s speeds, suitable for audio arrays. Bluetooth 5.2 technology provides support for wireless devices such as headphones and controllers. When combined with Ryzen processors with integrated graphics, the HDMI video output can provide you with enhanced visual capabilities suitable for light workloads and troubleshooting. Connect to your network via Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) technology or use the integrated 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet port for a reliable wired connection. You also have an array of RGB headers so you can easily turn your PC into the centerpiece of your gaming room by connecting and customizing lighting strips.
The MPG B650I EDGE WIFI includes a variety of built-in functions that enable an easy installation ideal for both new and seasoned builders. A PCI-E Steel Armor slot provides extra rigidity to the expansion slot by adding metal plating and extra anchor points. EZ DEBUG LED, EZ LED Control, and Flash BIOS Button streamline your troubleshooting process in the event of a failure.
The MPG B650I EDGE WIFI includes multiple thermal enhancements that allow you to fully utilize the power of your components without worry of throttling. Extended heatsink and heat pipe designs along the back panel reduce heat buildup. MOSFET K7 thermal pad, M.2 Shield Frozr, and extra choke pad all ensure the motherboard remains cool even under heavy loads. Additionally, the MPG B650I EDGE WIFI includes enhanced headers for CPU and liquid cooling pump systems for efficient fan and liquid cooling.
Performance Boosting Technologies
Integrated software- and hardware-based technologies are integrated into the fabric of the MPG B650I EDGE WIFI design. Not only is electrical load managed throughout the server-grade 2 ounce Copper thickened PCB, but efficiency is optimized with a unique VRM Power design. Core Boost and Memory Boost technologies promote greater communications between the processor and memory modules for better performance. MSI's Lightning Gen 4 PCI-E Slot and M.2 Slot technology leverage the CPU and B650 chipset to enhance performance for the graphics card and M.2 storage drives.
