It can easily be fitted anywhere to report limitless live data to the Purrmetrix web service (Gateway unit required Farnell part no 2906732) which is required to collect the data and encrypt it for delivery to the web service Highly sensitive to human movement (of large limbs moving more than1m/sec) it can be used for monitoring occupancy and activity in any indoor environment. The sensor reports the number of movements detected every 30 seconds within a range of 5m.
