Turn your modular system into a self-contained drum machine with the Tiptop Audio TOMS909, a Eurorack module featuring the original TR-909 analog tom drum circuits with independent low, mid, and high tom-tom sounds. Each tom voice has an extended tuning range with voltage control and attenuators, allowing you to dial in soft bass drums on the low end and high-pitched toms on the other.
Adapting the circuit to the modular format has allowed special features to be added like independent accent levels and dual-input pulse-shapers for compatibility with most sequencers, triggers, and clock outputs, all without compromising the signature sound of the TR-909 tom drums. TOMS909 is tuned to sound like a machine that came fresh off the original '80s assembly line. The module ships with a ribbon power cable.
- Classic, all-analog, punchy tom-toms from the TR-909 drum machine
- Contains all three of the TR-909�s original low, mid, and high tom-tom circuits adapted for use in the modular format
- Designed to sound like a fresh machine coming off the assembly line back in the '80s
- Each tom has an extended tuning range, so you can, for example, dial in soft bass drums on the low end and high-pitched toms on the other
- Each tom includes a trigger and accent input with accent-level control, manual tuning, voltage-control tune input with attenuator, and independent audio out.
- MIX Out sums all three toms together and can be accessed by the MIXZ MixBus on the back.
- The gate input was designed with a dual pulse-shaper circuit, so you can trigger your TOMS909 with trigger/gate signals from sequencers or any other pulse/clock sources.
