Super Gemini fuses a state-of-the-art FPGA digital architecture with archetypal voltage-controlled synthesizer technology. This harmonious marriage of old and new encompasses all that is great from the era of classic analog polyphonic synthesizers, yet in an unparalleled form factor, which is immensely powerful, flexible, and reliable.

• Oscillator 1: Super waveform oscillator core with a centroid oscillator and six sister oscillators using sampled, single-cycle waveforms that can be dynamically dephased in the stereo field for wide, thick sounds up to two super modes
• Sine, sawtooth, square, triangle, noise, and up to 64 alternative waveforms for Oscillator 1
• Oscillator 2: Oscillator core running at a very high sample rate
• Sine, sawtooth, square, triangle, variable noise (pink, white, blue), and variable PWM for Oscillator 2
• Oscillator 2 features hard sync, LFO mode, ring-modulation mode, and square or sinewave suboscillator mode

Binaural Synthesis

Employing a true-stereo signal path, the Super Gemini pairs its 20 voices to form 10 super voices. As a result, the left and right channels, and each of your ears, are assigned a complete synthesizer voice. This empowers UDO's championed warm analog tone, and enables you to create extremely dynamic spatial sounds.

Analog VCF and VCA Section

The Super Gemini sports SSI-style analog VCFs and VCAs for an unmistakably warm, organic sound. With loads of settings, limitless modulation, and dual envelopes, you have tons of options for sculpting your synth sounds.

Versatile LFO Architecture

Super Gemini includes two assignable, programmable LFOs that greatly enhance your sound creation possibilities. LFO 1 is freely assignable, with low- and high-frequency modes, and it can be used as a standard LFO, a third oscillator, a drone, or for audio-rate modulations.

It also features controls for delay, delay with left/right phase offset, as well as a selection of run modes (free running, reset, and one-shot) and syncing modes (arpeggiator/sequencer or external clock). LFO 2 sports rate and delay controls, selectable trigger modes, and dedicated controls for rate, pitch, and VCF/VCA modulation.

Modulation Matrix

The intuitive 8x8 mod matrix sports predefined sources and destinations for easy and immediate sound creation. LEDs give clear feedback on mappings and modulation amounts. If you want to get really deep, you can get access to 25 more modulation destinations using the direct parameter mapping method.

Arpeggiator and Sequencer

Create epic grooves and patterns with the powerful onboard sequencer and arpeggiator section. The arp features five MIDI-syncable modes with a smart-hold option, while the 64-step sequencer sports programmable step, slide, accent, rest, and sequence length tracks. Clock parameters feature easily adjusted division and swing settings per layer, and you can store up to 16 patterns total.

Memory and File Management

The UDO Super Gemini can store 256 performances (each containing 2 patches), 512 patches, and 64 alternative waveforms for Oscillator 1, including custom-made waveforms. Files can be copied to the internal memory or backed up using the USB-B port.
